Yo-Yo Flag

My Yo-Yo Flag is complete, I just finished snipping the last of the threads today at lunch time. 273 Yo-Yo's made with the small green clover Yo-Yo Maker. I sewed the yo-yo's together by dropping my feed dogs and using a 2.5 zig zag stitch. I will use this as a table topper. I think it's too heavy to hang; it would really put a lot of stress on the upper yo-yo rows.

It turned out really well! Now my question is, what are you going to do with it? Is it stiff enough to hang on a wall, table topper? What. Rhoda

Hi: I really like it. I think I will buy some of those new yo yo makers that come in the shape of flowers, hearts etc. The needlework show will be in Toronto in October and I'm sure I can get them there. You did a nice job. Will you hang it? Hugs Mary Ann

and you sewed it together on the machine? Is this a commercial pattern? I want to make some for gifts. We are all flag wavers here in my family and my boss collects flags. Perfect! You did a great job and I love the fabrics, Jen. Hoo Ray!

Jen: How do these things work? I looked them up on the clover site but there weren't any descriptions of how they work.

Wow Jen...awesome! I know I wasn't going to surcome to the yoyo craze but then I bought the heart and flower yoyo maker. Now after seeing this quilt I may have to get the regular yoyo maker and make my mom a flag quilt.
