The Bargello has been Bordered!!

I just decided to go with straight on borders. I think they look just fine. I'm going to be binding it in the same fabric as the outer border. I'm so happy with how it came out. I simply cannot wait to quilt it this weekend.

I also forgot to show a picture of the coasters that my mom made for me. I have a sewing set of four and 3 Halloween coasters. Thanks Mom!!

I love it Jen!!!! Orange never used to be my color, but I could love this one! I am beginning to like orange more and more. You should definately enter this one in as many contests as you
can....and just a suggestion..I have heard you get more points for sewing the final binding down by hand. I could do that for you when you are quilting your other quilt, if you want me to.

I just love your coasters!!!! If you want to know where the other four of the yellow/sewing coasters went, your mom gave them to me! The halloween coasters are adorable!

Jen,
I love your bargello quilt it is beautiful. My mom would love it to as she loves the Autumn colors orange, yellow, gold. She says it reminds her of the leaves changing.
The Coasters are cute. I got some like those from my secret pal for christmas in July I loved them. I'm thinking about making some as little gifts for the holidays.

That quilt is a knock-out! You did a great job on it. My fabrics are still lined up on my ping-pong table. Rhoda

Oh, it's beautiful Jen. Breathtaking, really. You have got to be really proud of it - and you should be!

Your bargello is gorgeous! Are the border fabrics in the quilt itself - I'm guessing that they are but can't tell for sure. You have a right to be very proud!

Love the coasters too. Do you have directions for them? I am always looking for little projects that our Senior Center ladies can make. They are making some hexagonal ones now, but these would be nice change for them.

We'll all be watching for the finished product after this weekend!

Jen...Like everyone else...I LOVE your bargello. The picture does not do the quilt justice...it is so much richer in person. Just wanted to tell you again I love it!
