Snow day!!

Today we had a snow day. Lots and lots of snow. Mike and I went out around 8 to take a look.

I haven't shown a picture of Mike's new truck yet so here's your chance. Giggle. He got home around 2, this picture was taken around 8.

Mike's new truck. Parked at 2pm; picture at 8pm

Then we have the back of Mike's truck, a SUV and a little compact car. Maybe Chevy Cavalier sized.

I think this one is Chevy Lumina sized.

Here's our porch....it's almost completely filled with snow.

I haven't been out at all but I do know that my door is snowed in. When I went to let Murphy out I had to really push to get it open enough for him to get out. The snow banks from the side walk are so high he just stood and looked like what the heck am I subposed to do here. I hope it clears up later I could use some groceries.

It is pretty to look at...but I don't want it - or least that much at one time.

Be careful when you have to get out in it.

Yep, it looks the same here in Michigan. Snow, snow and some more snow.....
Good excuse to stay in and quilt!

Wow! I heard you guys got a lot of snow on the news, but that is just amazing. We're dry here, a little skiff of snow yesterday, just enough to blow around.

we got about 14 inches here too - the kids shoveled once around 11 and by 1 you could not even tell - streets are clear now though but the sidewalks - that's another story lol - snowman time lol

Yesterday the roads were better during the snow storm than this morning here in my neck of the woods. They sanded on top of the snow...didn't do much but make an ugly mess!

The white stuff is pretty but I am ready for spring...allergies and all.
