Apparantly I have a name double...

There was a Jennifer Buettner on the Today show today talking about "Obecalp, the First Standardized, Branded and Pharmaceutical Grade Placebo."

I found out about her last week because I set my own name up on Google Alerts so I get an email each time I am posted about online. Only the post I read wasn't about ME. Yikes, I don't like having a name double on something so controversial.

I've done the same thing. Only instead of getting a Google alert about someone else with my name it notified me about a road named after me that someone was killed on. I think I canceled that alert after that.

Interesting to hear about your name double. I don't think I have one.

I used to go a church with a woman who had the same name that I did...people would refer to us by our husbands name or our occupation...or sometimes by our childrens name. Oh yes, records did get mixed up...expecially at the doctors clinic where we both went.

With a name as screwy as mine, the chances are pretty poor that I would have a name double. I can't even figure out what your "double" was talking about! In my mind it registers as "yada yada yada placebo"!

maybe they are related... like, forty-seventh cousin, three times removed? :) I don't think I have a name double... definitely not with my maiden name, but don't think so with the married name either.

And she wasn't nearly as exciting as you are! She would answer a sentence as succinctly as possible. Seriously, what fun is that?!?!

No matter how many people have your name...YOU are still a one of kind! It is kinda weird though. Like the thought that everyone has a look-a-like double out there. I wanna send mine a sympathy card...hehehehheee...really it's just her thighs and butt I feel sorry for....hehheheheee
