English Paper Piecing

One of the things I picked up at the Quilt Expo was a few packs of English Paper Piecing from Paper Pieces. I bought two different sizes of Hexigons - 1/2" and 1/4" and a kit to make a little lone star. I'm having fun with it so far. I've gotten three flowers made and whip stitched together.

Very interesting new project to try. Can't wait to see it when you're done.

OMG! R U on crack? Giggle! Ok...those are really tiny hex's, Jen! That might be why they are just so darn cute!

Yay, for the precut hexagons. The first one I did I cut the hexagons myself out of freezer paper. Omg,I don't think I want to do that again. The second, a little dresdan plate, was precut. Ah, the precut was so much easier. I made it out of Aunt Gracies fabrics. I enjoyed having the pieces to carry along to events where I was sitting and waiting. It sure helps pass the time. Have fun working on the little hand pieced quilts. Karen

I've got a pack of those that I keep meaning to work on too... perhaps I can get some prepared for a plane trip at the end of next week. Can't wait to see more!
