Quilts on Barns - #70 Farmer's Daughter

Block #70 is the Farmer's Daughter and is located at N2098 Five Corners Road in Monroe.  Bob and Nancy Faith chose this block because it has special meaning to them:

The Faith's chose the quilt pattern, "Farmer's Daughter", for nostalgic reasons. In 1956, as a freshman at Monticello High School, Bob started working for Nancy's parents, on the Chesebro Farm, north of Monroe. Over time he and Nancy became childhood sweethearts, fell in love, and in 1965 Bob proposed to Nancy...and indeed…..he did marry the farmer's daughter!!!! Quilting has been a family tradition for Nancy's family for generations. Nancy and her sister Jan and their families also have a barn quilt on display at their family farm, in honor of their mom.
