Block #19 – Flying Frontier – Green County

Your block will finish to 6”. This means that it will physically measure 6-1/2” X 6-1/2” before it is sewn to other blocks.

Cutting Instructions & Piecing Locations for 6” Paper Pieced Block:

(1) 2-1/2” Square – Yellow, sub-cut clip_image006 into 2 pieces – B4, C4

(1) 2-1/2” Square – Orange, sub-cut clip_image007 into 2 pieces – B1, C1

(2) 2-1/2” Squares – Dark Red, sub-cut clip_image007[1] into 4 pieces – A2. A4. D1. D4

(8) 2-1/2” Squares – Light Grey, sub-cut clip_image006[1] into 16 pieces – A1, A3, A5, B2, B3, B5, C2, C3, C5, D2, D3, D5, E2, F2, G2, H2

(2) 2-1/2” Squares – White, sub-cut clip_image006[2] into 4 pieces – E1, F1, H1, G1

(2) 2” X 4” Rectangles – White – A6, C6

(2) 1-1/2” X 3-1/2” Rectangles – White – Pieced

**You will want to Download the file and then print the .pdf file.  When you print, make sure that scaling is turned off enabling the document to print at 100%.  Take a moment to measure.  The Solid Line along the Top edge of section A should measure 3".  If you print directly from the Google Docs screen you might come out with a slightly smaller sized block.**
