It's looking like a Firecracker now!!

I've gone as far as I can go.  I know the rest of my border fabric is on it's way.  This weekend I'll prep the binding and make the backing.  I might even wind the bobbins and load the backing.  Cut the batting too?  I know, jumping the gun but it IS already the 11th of June and July 4th IS rapidly approaching.

I really like how it's turning out.

I think it looks amazing and I would definately load the backing and be ready to quilt it. You need plenty of time for sewing the binding on! Now if I could just get the motivation to do the same with my frame and get a few quilts done, I'd be doing good.

Its beautiful! I really love the pioneer braid and the red, white and blue fabrics.

I worked on a pioneer braid border once, but never finished it. I should get it out and work on it some more. It is red, white and black and was originally supposed to go on an NC State Quilt.

AMAZING job, as always. You've inspired me to try one with some strips I cut a bazillion years ago that I never did anything with.

She does many quilt paintings (in addition to pretty quilts) and she and her husband add them to barns and farm buildings.
