Block #29 – Ohio Star – Walworth County

Your block will finish to 6”. This means that it will physically measure 6-1/2” X 6-1/2” before it is sewn to other blocks.

Cutting Instructions & Piecing Locations for 6” Paper Pieced Block:


(1) 4” Square – Yellow, sub-cut clip_image006 into 4 pieces – A4, B4, F1, G1
(4) 2-1/2” Squares – Yellow, sub-cut clip_image008 into 8 pieces – A2, A6, B2, B6, C2, C3, C4, G3
(4) 1-1/2” Squares – Yellow – D1, D3, E1, E3
(4) 2-1/2” Squares – Red, sub-cut clip_image009 into 8 pieces – A3, A5, B3, B5, C5, F2, F3, G2
(1) 2-1/2” Square – Red – C1
(4) 1-3/4” X 6” Rectangles – Red – A8, B8, D2, E2
(2) 2-1/2” Squares – Lime, sub-cut clip_image009[1] into 4 pieces – A1, A7, B1, B7

**You will want to Download the file and then print the .pdf file.  When you print, make sure that scaling is turned off enabling the document to print at 100%.  Take a moment to measure.  The Solid Line along the bottom edge of section A should measure 6".  If you print directly from the Google Docs screen you might come out with a slightly smaller sized block.**
