Block #43 – Cake Stand – Walworth County

Your block will finish to 6”. This means that it will physically measure 6-1/2” X 6-1/2” before it is sewn to other blocks.

Cutting Instructions & Piecing Locations for 6” Paper Pieced Block:

(1) 2-1/2” Square – Orange – A1

(3) 2-1/2” Squares – Orange, sub-cut clip_image006 into 6 pieces – A3, A5, A7, B1, B4, B6

(3) 2-1/2” Squares – Yellow, sub-cut clip_image006[1] into 6 pieces – A2, A4, A6, B2, B3, B5

(2) 2-1/4” X 4-1/2” Rectangles – Blue – C1, D1

(1) 3-3/4” Square – Blue, sub-cut clip_image006[2] into 2 pieces – 1 Pieced

(1) 5” Square – Purple, sub-cut clip_image006[3] into 2 pieces – B7

(1) 5” Square – Brown, sub-cut clip_image006[4] into 2 pieces – B8

Sub-cut remaining clip_image008into 2 pieces – C2, D2

**You will want to Download the file and then print the .pdf file.  When you print, make sure that scaling is turned off enabling the document to print at 100%  Take a moment to measure.  The side edge solid line on section A should measure 4-3/4".  If you print directly from the Google Docs screen you might come out with a slightly smaller sized block.**
