Block #49 – Windblown Square – Green County

Your block will finish to 6”. This means that it will physically measure 6-1/2” X 6-1/2” before it is sewn to other blocks.
Cutting Instructions & Piecing Locations for 6” Paper Pieced Block:
(2) 4-1/4” Square – White, sub-cut into 4 pieces – A5, B5, C5, D4
(2) 2” X 2-3/4” Rectangle – Red - B2, D2
(2 3-1/2” Square – Red, sub-cut into 4 pieces – A1, A4, C1, C4
(2) 2” X 2-3/4” Rectangle – Black - A2, C2
(2) 3-1/2” Square – Black, sub-cut into 4 pieces – B3, B4, D1, D3
(2) 2-1/2” Squares – Grey, sub-cut into 4 pieces – A3, B1, C3, D5

**You will want to Download the file and then print the .pdf file.  When you print, make sure that scaling is turned off enabling the document to print at 100%  Take a moment to measure.  The solid line on the bottom edge of section A should measure 3".  If you print directly from the Google Docs screen you might come out with a slightly smaller sized block.**

(2) 2-3/4” Squares – Blue, sub-cut into 4 pieces – D1, D3, E1, E4
(4) 2-3/4” Squares – Red, sub-cut into 8 pieces – A2, A4, B2, B4, C2, C3, F2, F3
